Ind vs Aus – Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood ruled out of the second Test which is in Adelaide on Dec 6-10. It is Hazlewood’s first absence from a home Test against Indian team.
This is the first time since the Sydney Test of 2015, Australia team will be playing without one of the four blasters like Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon.

Uncapped fast bowlers Sean Abbott and Brendan Doggett have been included in the home team’s squad. Australia is likely to fill Hazlewood’s spot with Scott Boland, who was part of the originally selected squad.
Scott Boland is set to feature in the two-day warm-up game for the Prime Minister’s XI starting on November 30. His most recent Test appearance was during the 2023 Ashes Test in Leeds.
