English cricketer Liam Dawson has been included in England’s fourth Test squad against India at Old Trafford, Manchester.
England vs India, 4th Test match which is started on Jul 23-27, at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
Spin-bowling allrounder Liam Dawson has replaced for Shoaib Bashir who was ruled out of the series for a fracture to a finger on his left hand.
The 35-year-old Liam Dawson, played a last Test for England in the year July 2017 against South Africa. He earning the PCA Player of the Year award in the year 2023 and 2024. He has played three Tests so far and has taken seven wickets to his name.
England Men’s National Selector Luke Wright said,
“The man from Hampshire has earned his spot in the side.Liam Dawson deserves his call-up. Dawson has been in outstanding form in the County Championship and consistently puts in strong performances for Hampshire.”
There is no more changes have made to the squad that was announced ahead of the upcoming third Test.
