IPL 2026 : Sai Sudharsan, who is opening batsman from Gujarat Titans has broken the long standing Chris Gayle record to become the fastest player to score 2000 runs in IPL.
Sai Sudharsan’s century made him to the fastest player to accumulate 2000 runs in the IPL season. His IPL debut in the year 2022 for Gujarat Titans and Sudharsan has achieved the milestone in 47 innings. He breaking the record which is held by Chris Gayle who reached it in 48 innings.
In the IPL 2026, 34th Match Royal Challengers Bengaluru played against Gujarat Titans in the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Gujarat Titans bat first and scored 205-3 in 20 Overs, Sai Sudharsan scored 100 runs in 58 balls. Royal Challengers Bengaluru started to chase the 205 and they reached the target in 18.5 overs.
