T20 World Cup 2026: In the 13th Match South Africa beat Afghanistan after the Intense Double Super Over struggle end.
South Africa started to bat first and scored 187/6 in 20 overs with the help of Quinton de Kock 59(41) and Ryan Rickelton 61(28).

Afghanistan start to play towards the target of 188 runs, but they scored 187-10 in 19.4 Overs and match has tied.

For Afghanistan team it was a second double-Super Over match in just over two years, previous versus India in Bengaluru in January 2024 and it has lost both.
The latest defeat leaves their position in the World Cup hanging in the balance, after suffering losses against Group D contenders New Zealand and South Africa.
