The 21-year-old Coco Gauff moved into the third round of the WTA Canadian Open 2025 with her win over Danielle Collins on Wednesday.

The Young American tennis star Coco Gauff posted a 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (7/2) win over compatriot Danielle Collins in a fixture that lasted nearly three-hours war.

The next match is for Gauff is with Russian Veronika Kudermetova in the third round of the Canadian Open 2025.

Coco Gauff said,
“It was really a frustrating match for me just because I just felt like I was practicing well and then I don’t think I transferred it.

“But hopefully I got my bad match of the tournament out of the way and I should come back stronger in the next round.”

“It was really a tough battle out there we both.”

“Making serves in the court was the toughest challenge, Maybe if I cut that in half it could be a quicker match for me sometime. I thought I was playing well but except for that part of my game.”

“For me to break her as more times as I did, there are some positives things to take from today.”

Earlier, Canadian Bianca Andreescu was withdraw from her second-round match at her home WTA 1000 event, because of a left ankle injury, handing No.4 seed Mirra Andreeva a walkover into the third round.
