Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez announced on Monday via social media that they are officially engaged.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez first met in Spain about nine years ago, back when he was starring for Real Madrid in La Liga. Since that meeting, they’ve been together as a couple.
Georgina wrote in Spanish,
“Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives, posted with a photo of the ring.“
Ronaldo met Georgina Rodríguez nine years ago at a Gucci store in Madrid, during his time playing in La Liga for Real Madrid. The pair have been together ever since, building a long-term relationship that has attracted global attention.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a father of five children, two of whom he shares with Georgina Rodríguez. Their youngest daughter, Bella was born in April 2022, but the joy of her arrival was accompanied by heartbreak, as her twin brother was stillborn.

The 31-year-old Georgina Rodriguez, who stars in her own Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, has previously addressed speculation about her engagement to Cristiano Ronaldo. On the show, she revealed that her friends are “always joking about the wedding”, hinting at the constant curiosity surrounding their relationship.

Ronaldo, who holds the title of the most-followed person on Instagram, has not yet to publicly comment on about their engagement.
The 40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, five-time Ballon d’Or winner left European club football in 2022 after terminating his contract with Manchester United and has since been playing for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
