MI had released uncapped player Krishnan Shrijith, who offered a similar role but did not get a chance to play, ahead of the auction. The inclusion of Quinton de Kock further strengthens and solidifies MI’s squad.
Quinton De Kock played three seasons for Mumbai Indians from 2019 to 2021 and he scored 529 runs in his first season for the side, 503 runs in the second and 297 in the third one.
