Olympic legend Usain Bolt named as the ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, announced by ICC.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Olympic speed legend Usain Bolt as the ambassador for the upcoming 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be hosted in the West Indies and USA.

The Jamaican Usain Bolt, who holds the world records in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m, he will play a key role in next week’s release of the official anthem music video alongside artists Sean Paul and Kes.
The 37-year-old Olympic Gold Medallist will also attend the T20 World Cup 2024 matches in the West Indies and he will be part of fan engagement events promoting the sport which is in the United States.

The eight-time Olympic Gold Medallist Usain Bolt said,
“I am really thrilled to be an ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Growing up in the Caribbean, cricket has been a big part of my life and I am excited to watch West Indies matches at the World Cup and help cricket grow worldwide.”
“Though I will be cheering for West Indies at this World Cup and bringing cricket to the US is a significant step for the sport. In this world it is the biggest sports market and the energy that we will bring for the T20 World Cup is a huge opportunity.
ICC CEO Geoff Allardice said,
“Usain Bolt is a global icon for the sports and we are thrilled to have him on board as an Ambassador for this 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. He is the perfect fit for this role and his passion for cricket is well known.
