Haddad was Born in Sao Paulo and her parents are Ayrton Elias Maia Filho and Lais Scaff Haddad. Haddad Maia has started to playing tennis at the age of five. Haddad comes from tennis family background. Maia mother Lais Scaff and grandmother Arlette Scaff Haddad were successful Brazilian tennis players. She is also nece of Rolando Boldrin. Rolando is a famous Brazilian actor, singer, song writer, writer and TV presenter.
Her father Ayrton is a former athlete (basketball) player, often cheering courtside and supporting her passion for travel and surfing with the family. Trained at Esporte Clube Pinheiros in Sao Paulo, where she developed strong fundamentals during her formative childhood tennis years. As a junior, she reached No.15 in the ITF world rankings and twice finished runner-up in doubles at the French Open juniors (2012 & 2013), and reached the semifinals in girls doubles at Wimbledon (2011).
She Reached a career-high ITF junior singles ranking of No.15 position. She is Twice runner-up in girl’s doubles at Roland Garros (2012 and 2013) and semifinalist in girl’s doubles at Wimbledon in 2011. Beatriz won her first professional level doubles title in the year September 2010 at a $10,000 ITF event in Mogi das Cruzes at the age of 14, and her first singles title at an ITF $10K event in Goiania in 2011 (age 15).
