England’s All-round cricketer Ben Stokes has withdrawn from the T20 World Cup which is scheduled for June and July.
The 32-year-old ben Stokes said,
“I am working hard and focusing on building my bowling fitness and need to back up to fulfil my role as an all-rounder in all formats of cricket.”

“I am hopeful that opting out of IPL and the World Cup will serve as a sacrifice and enabling me to be fully embody the all-rounder role as I aspire for my future.”

“I am looking forward to excited playing for Durham in the Championship of County before the start of our Test summer.”

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for England starts on June 4 against Scotland at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
Then they against Australia play group matches, Oman and Namibia in Barbados and Antigua before qualification for the Super 8’s and knockouts.
