Italian Jannik Sinner beat Australian third seed player Alex de Minaur by 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 on Tuesday to reach his third straight China Open final.
Jannik Sinner opened with his trademark quick start in pursuit of an 11th straight win over De Minaur, breaking the world No.8 to love for a 4-2 lead, before having to dig deep to hold serve in the following game.

In the China Open 2025 title clash, the four-time Grand Slam winner Sinner will play against American 19-year-old Learner Tien.

Jannik Sinner said,
“I have one night to recover and I am going to be fine now.”
“In the China Open finals, you have even more adrenaline and more will to play as best as you can. I am looking forward to it, finals are very special. It is another final for me in this season. It is a great result again for me. Let’s we see who it is going to be.”
“I felt like it (level) was very high.”
“Many great rallies and many chances we get it both ways. I had my chances in the second set, but I couldn’t take them properly. He had more chances, so it was quite an even match. In the match third set, I tried to raise my level best. I broke him very early, which gave me a bit of confidence to serve better at times. I am very happy about it today. It was a different match than usual against him.”
The 2023 champion closed out the first set with ease but he faced difficulties early in the second, showing signs of physical struggle at times.
Alex De Minaur battled hard to claim just his second set against the Italian with a determined effort in the 10th game, But Sinner quickly regrouped in the decider game, breaking immediately and holding firm to book a ninth consecutive hardcourt
final.
