WTA World No.40 Anna Kalinskaya beats world No.1 Swiatek in straight sets to set up final with Italian Jamine Paolini, both are prepare to make their WTA 1000 final debuts.
The Qualifier Russian Anna Kalinskaya will face on Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in the title clash final of Dubai Championships 2024.

In the Dubai Championship 2024 Semi-final Anna Kalinskaya beat Top seed Iga Swiatek by 6-4, 6-4 to reach the final WTA 1000 event, on Friday.
Kalinskaya will take on Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in her maiden tour final level.
Anna Kalinskaya said,
“She is a great player and I know if I don’t stay calm and aggressive she is going to destroy me. That was my plan. To stay aggressive and move her a lot. I am happy I won. She is really unbelievable. I am happy I had the chance to play against her. I am sure we will play a lot in the future.”
Anna Kalinskaya is the only second qualifier ever to reach the WTA 1000 final event since Caroline Garcia in Cincinnati two years ago.
