Australian Open 2024: Spanian Carlos Alcaraz beat Italian Lorenzo Sonego by 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 in the Second round.
The 20-year-old Alcaraz smashed Sonego in the game in four sets and moved to the third round. In this 2024 Australian Open edition continues to dazzle us all with the big entertaining from the most unexpected players.

World No.2 Alcaraz battled with Sonego at the Rod Laver Arena for over 3 hours and 20 minutes, finally clinched the game 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 against the Italian.
The second seed Alcaraz will meet Chinese wildcard Shang Juncheng next at the third round.
Alcaraz said,
“I am really happy with my performance today, who missed last year’s opening Grand Slam of the year with an injury.”
“We both of us played such a great level and high intensity. The match was a bit tricky with the wind and sun, really tough to play my best.”
“Even if I lost this game second set, I think I played well a good game.”
Carlos also battled with 10-time Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic for the number one spot, he has the opportunity to back the top ranking in Melbourne.
