India opted to rest their trump card Varun Chakaravarthy and giving chance to Ravi Bishnoi in the third T20I against New Zealand at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday.

Sanju Samson‘s dismissed off the first ball offered brief hope, but Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma quickly crushed any chance of a New Zealand comeback.

Ishan Kishan kick-started the chase by smashing Matt Henry for two sixes and a four over the leg side in the opening over. Before Abhishek Sharma took charge with a flurry of his trademark strokes.
Abhishek posted the second fastest half-century by an Indian in 14 balls. At the time Suryakumar, who has finally found form in this series and took over scoring another unbeaten half-century to seal the contest in his own style.
