Sanju Samson‘s dismissed off the first ball offered brief hope, but Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma quickly crushed any chance of a New Zealand comeback.

Ishan Kishan kick-started the chase by smashing Matt Henry for two sixes and a four over the leg side in the opening over. Before Abhishek Sharma took charge with a flurry of his trademark strokes.
Abhishek posted the second fastest half-century by an Indian in 14 balls. At the time Suryakumar, who has finally found form in this series and took over scoring another unbeaten half-century to seal the contest in his own style.
