Tiger Woods says there is no confirmed date for his return, but the 15-time major champion is still keeping the 2026 Masters in mind as he evaluates a potential move to the Champions Tour.
Tiger Woods had disc replacement surgery in October 2025, continuing a series of injury setbacks that have kept him off the course since the British Open 2024.

Tiger Woods said,
“It is just one of those things where it is each and every day, I keep trying, I keep progressing, said Tuesday at The Riviera Country Club.”

Tiger Woods has won the Masters five times, most notably in 2019 when he ended his 11-year major title drought with a historic victory.
Wood suffered severe leg injuries in the year 2021 car crash but returned at the 2022 Masters and finished 47th.
The veteran superstar underwent back surgery in September 2024 and was still recovering when he revealed in March 2025, that he had suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. Later he confirmed that the Achilles injury was no longer a concern, but the disc replacement surgery along with his history of multiple back procedures has made his return to competition more difficult.
“I have had a fused back and now a disc replacement, so it is challenging. Now I entered a new decade, so that number is starting to sink in and has us thinking about the opportunity to be able to play in a cart.”
