IPL 2024: RR Captain Sanju Samson fined Rs 12 lakh for slow over rate

IPL 2024 : Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson has been fined 12 lakh after Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans, 24th Match maintained a slow over rate.

IPL statement said,
“Sanju Samson, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, has been fined after his team maintained a slow over rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.”

“As this was his team’s first offence of this season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over rate offences, for this Samson was fined Rs 12 lakhs.”

In this 24th match Samson scored an unbeaten 68 off 38 balls and it was assisted by Riyan Parag (78) as the Rajasthan Royals scored an imposing 196/3 in 20 overs.
