Karen Khachanov is a Russian professional tennis player who was born on 21 May 1996, Moscow, Russia. He achieved high ranking as world No.8 in the men’s singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), achieved in July 2019.
The 29-year-old Khachanov is currently ranked World No.16 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). In his tennis career he won seven ATP singles titles. He also won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and reached the semifinals of two Grand Slam tournaments on the 2022 US Open and the 2023 Australian Open.

His father Abgar and mother Natalia, both come from medical backgrounds. Before focusing on a medical career his father played volleyball at a high level. Karen has two siblings,they are Margarita and Georgiy. His tennis role models were Marat Safin and Juan Martin del Potro. At the age of 12, he made the decision to pursue a professional career in tennis.
